This piece was inspired by the beautiful designs made by Freddie Carabott in the 1960’s, for the Greek National Tourism Office.

Over the last few years operating a business in the hospitality sector,  I see how a push for mass tourism
is slowly toppling over “Filotimo” in Greece. 

“Filotimo”,  an iconic characteristic of Greek hospitality, ethics and humanity is being commercialized and generating burn out and exhaustion amongst the locals, businesses and the hospitality workers.
