“ΟΠΙΟΣ ΔΕΝ ΕΧΕΙ ΜΥΑΛΟ, ΕΧΕΙ ΠΟΔΙΑ”
A Greek proverb that translates to “if you don’t have a brain, you have feet”. The Greek version of “work smarter, not harder”.

I hear this a lot, it has become engrained in my subconscious., and recently, I realized that perhaps we have come to view the achievement of success to mean that,
you are smart enough, not to need to work hard.

Obviously a flawed interpretation, but I do catch myself feeling this way at times. If I need to work REALLY hard, then I must be doing something wrong,
I must find an easier solution, a less tiring way to achieve success.
But, ideas, no matter how beautiful, are just flowers in a vase,
without energy and movement.

This piece is a reminder that success is
doing the work, giving ideas movement and momentum.

Success is having a brain, and feet and using both at maximum capacity.
