Rugged Masculinity in Cretan culture

My husband Niko grew a moustache during the Covid quarantine in 2021.

I loved it and had to immortalize it.

The plants in the background are a nod to his Cretan heritage,
inspired by the designs often seen on Minoan frescoes and pottery.

QUESTIONS :  Why did I love the moustache so much? Why didn’t he keep it?
Do the choices we make about our appearance change the person we are?
