Humans inherit and create stories to make sense of the world and their place in it.

Narratives like memories,  proverbs and dreams  keep surfacing in my mind throughout everyday life.  By translating stories into visual metaphors, I can observe them outside myself, reflect on the meanings I have sifted from them, and consider how these meanings have shaped me and my beliefs. 

I hope my work encourages others to be curious about the narratives that have shaped them, and creates  the space to observe themselves without judgement.
